Miguel Bolívar es un arquitecto, diseñador y artista plástico originario de la ciudad de Durango, realizó sus estudios en Durango, Zacatecas y el ESAM Design de París donde empezó a elaborar objetos en cartonería enfocados al diseño interior.
Desde niño ha tenido inquietudes artísticas, amante del color, se inició en el mundo del arte popular con el desfile “La noche de los Alebrijes”.
Antes que cualquier cosa se considera un creador, que constantemente aprende nuevas técnicas, siendo la última, aplicada en la realización de alebrijes luminosos con gran aceptación del público.
Disfruta y tiene la capacidad de elaborar un proyecto arquitectónico tanto como algún mueble o escultura.
A la fecha ha expuesto en el Museo de Arte Popular, Reforma, Zócalo, Guanajuato, Querétaro, París, Londres y el próximo año en Berlín.
Miguel Bolívar is an architect, designer and plastic artist from the city of Durango, he made his studies in Durango, Zacatecas and in the ESAM Design of Paris, where he started to create objects in “cartonería” focused in Interior Design.
Since a boy he had artistic curiosity, lover of color, he started himself in the world of Popular Art with the parade “The Night of the Alebrijes”.
Before anything, he considers himself a creator, that is constantly learning new techniques, being the last one, applied in the creation of light alebrijes with great acceptance of the public.
He enjoys and has the capacity to create an architectonic project as furniture or sculpture.
To the date he has exposed in the Museo de Arte Popular, Reforma, Zócalo, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Paris, London and the next year will be in Berlin.
