Myriad es un portal abierto por una incalculable cantidad de líneas que se repiten a partir de una sola primera línea. La multiplicidad da lugar a formas y figuras escondidas en la fachada que siempre parten de “uno". Una simple línea vertical que representa el origen de todo, comienza arriba y conecta con lo que hay abajo. No hay forma de atravesar la superficie hasta que “uno” se multiplica hasta el infinito. Mapa lumínico e iluminación arquitectónica sincronizada a música electroacústica donde el arte digital generativo juega con la miríada de posibilidades en una sola línea.
Myriad is an open entrance hall with an incalculable amount of lines that repeats themselves from a very single first line. The multiplicity gives place to hidden forms and figures in the façade that always start with “one line”. A simple vertical line that represents the origin of everything, starts at the top and connects with what is in the bottom. There is no way to go through the surface until that “one line” multiplies itself to the infinity. Light map and architectural lighting synchronized with electroacoustic music, where generative digital art plays with the myriad of possibilities in a single line.
Semblanza biográfica
Artista visual nacido en 1979 en Mérida, Yucatán. Especializado en producción de medios audiovisuales y animación. Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación. Inicia su carrera como documentalista y animador. Trabajó en diseño multimedia para la escena con Teatro Línea de Sombra y Murmurante Teatro, con quienes crea la multimedia y parte de la narrativa de la obra “El viaje inmóvil”, dirigido por Jorge Vargas Cortez. La obra es selección oficial de la 32 MNT y tiene una temporada en el teatro El Milagro. Su trabajo como documentalista es seleccionado para el ecofest 2013 y presentado en la cineteca nacional.
Tras su experiencia en diseño multimedia para la escena se centra en el uso de nuevas tecnologías audiovisuales para narrar y comunicar.

Phd in Communication. He started his career as a documentarist and animator. He worked in multimedia design for the stage with Theatre Línea de Sombra and Murmurante Theatre, with whom he created multimedia and part of the narrative of the play “The still trip”, directed by Jorge Vargas Cortez. The play was an official selection of the MNT and has one season in theatre El Milagro. His work as a documentarist was selected for the ecofest 2013 and presented in the cineteca nacional.
After his experience in stage multimedia design he focused in the use of new audiovisual technologies to narrate and comunícate.
