Es Ingeniero en Comunicaciones y Electrónica del IPN y trabaja de manera profesional en diseño acústico e iluminación en Platoon México City desde el 2016. Es emprendedor y director del startup +Cosecha donde dirige proyectos de ingeniería para el desarrollo de dispositivos y herramientas tecnológicas que permitan incrementar la producción agrícola de grandes y pequeños agricultores del mundo. + Cosecha ha obtenido reconocimientos en concursos de emprendedurismo y presentado en Televisión abierta. Actualmente también dirige y participa como parte de “OMSIM ONURES SEROMA PUBLIC PROYECT” (“OOSPP” un proyecto público y socio-cultural de acupuntura urbana) en dónde lleva a cabo la dinámica de intervenir el espacio público y privado de la ciudad. Omar enfoca sus intervenciones interactivo-lumínicas en crear dinámicas sociales, haciendo al público parte esencial en la culminación de las obras, estas obras están principalmente basadas en incrementar la capacidad de interacción y comunicación entre el público llevando acabo dinámicas de encuentro, juegos y enlaces por medio del arte interactivo y luz que incitan el vínculo entre las personas, sus proyectos han sido motivo de conferencias y presentados en Platoon México City (Año Dual Alemania-México) 2016-2017, Desing Week México 2016, Festival de Video y Creaciones Sonoras CODEC 2016, IPN 2017, Museo de Arte Popular 2016, Ciclo audiovisual 2017, Festival Fuera del Tiempo 2017, Centro Cultural Santa Ma. 2017, Algo Rave 2017, Arduino Day 2017, Festival Burning Man 2017, entre otros foros, espacios públicos, eventos musicales y culturales.
Cómo ingeniero docente ha llevado a cabo cursos y talleres de programación y electrónica en las instalaciones del IPN, CTIN (Centro de Tecnología e innovación) y otros de manera independiente. Es miembro de The Global Creative Alliance desde el 2016.

He also currently directs and takes part in “OMSIM ONURES SEROMA PUBLIC PROYECT” (“OOSPP” is a public and socio/cultural project of urban acupuncture) where he carries out a dynamic where he is part of the private and public space of the city. Omar focuses his luminic-interactive interventions in creating social dynamics, making the public a basic part the works culmination, these works are mainly based in increasing the ability of interaction and communication among the public carrying out meetings, games and linking dynamics between people, his projects have been presented in conferences and in Platoon México City (Dual Year Germany–México) 2016-2017, Design Week Mexico 2016, Video and Sound Creation Festival CODEC 2016, IPN 2017, Popular Art Museum 2016, Audiovisual Cycle 2017, Festival Out of Time 2017, Cultural Center Santa Ma. 2017, Something Rave 2017, Arduino Day 2017, Burning Man Festival 2017, among other forums, public spaces, music and cultural events.
As a teaching engineer he has given courses and workshops in programing and electronics at the IPN, CTIN (Technology and Innovation Centre) and other, as freelancer. He is a member of the Global Creative Alliance since 2016.

Actualmente realiza el proyecto Amarillo Público: arte público al servicio del espacio urbano con el apoyo de la beca Jóvenes Creadores FOCAEM 2015-2016. Egresado de la Carrera en Artes Plásticas y Visuales (2013) de la Escuela Nacional de Pintura Escultura y Grabado ENPEG “La Esmeralda” (2015) obtuvo el diplomado en Docencia en Artes Visuales en la UNAM Academia de San Carlos, En 2014. Obtuvo la beca por los festejos de los 70 años de la escuela de Bellas Artes “La Esmeralda” en 2013 concluyó el Diplomado TRÁNSITOS en investigación, experimentación y producción artística transdisciplinaria por el CENART. En 2012 participó en el VI encuentro internacional de arte y derechos humanos Artifariti en Tinduof, Argelia. En 2010, la beca BI100: realización de proyectos artísticos para el Centenario de la Revolución y Bicentenario de la Independencia México.

He is currently preparing the project Amarillo Público ”Public Yellow”: public art at the service of urban space with the support of the Jóvenes Creadores FOCAEM 2015-2016 scholarship.
