Es investigador, crítico de arte contemporáneo y periodista afincado en la Ciudad de México. Estudió la licenciatura de Artes Visuales en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas de la UNAM. En los últimos doce años ha escrito cerca de cuatrocientos textos, entre estos el extenso ensayo que es la base de su discurso de interpretación del arte, Hurto en Casa. Robar la Idea del Arte Occidental, 2003-05. Fue editor del blog, Galerías de Arte Contemporáneo en la Era de la Información, (2005-12) www.artgenetic.blogspot.com archivo donde se describe el perfil de decenas de galerías, se reseñan exposiciones e incluyen textos monográficos de artistas mexicanos. Desde el año 2011 y hasta la fecha, es reportero y columnista de arte contemporáneo del diario La Crónica de Hoy a través de la columna semanal, Artgenetic.
Fue editor asociado de la revista Arte al Día México (2012-13), donde también publicó una treintena de artículos y ensayos. Además de colaborar en la revista norteamericana Art News (2015), del 2011 al 2014 fue corresponsal en México para la revista Flash Art International, Milán, donde reseñó exposiciones de artistas internacionales como Raphael Montañez Ortiz, Pablo Helguera, Jill Magid, Karl Holmqvist, Emily Sundblad, Superflex, Stefan Brüggemann, Monika Sosnowska, Guy de Cointet, etc. Sus textos críticos se encuentran referidos en los currículums de estos dos últimos artistas además de Gabriel Orozco, Máximo Gonzalez o múltiples artistas emergentes.
Todos sus textos han sido abordados desde su discurso de interpretación del arte contemporáneo, en cuyo centro se analiza cómo la producción de conocimiento formal artístico por parte de cualquier artista y en particular mexicanos o periféricos incide en el ecosistema global del arte.

From 2011 up until today, Eduardo has been working as reporter and columnist of contemporary art in the newpaper La Crónica de Hoy, through the editorial column Artgenetic.
Was an associate editor of the magazine Arte al Día Mexico (2012-2013), where he also published more than thirty articles and essays. Besides collaborating in the northamerican magazine Art News (2015), from 2011 until 2014 he was a correspondent in Mexico for the magazine Flash Art International, from Milan, where he reviewed exhibitions by international artists suchc as Raphael Montañez Ortiz, Pablo Helguera, Jill Magid, Karl Holmqvist, Emily Sundblad, Superflex, Stefan Brüggemann, Monika Sosnowska, Guy de Cointet, etc. His critique texts are a usually mentioned in the CVs of the last two artists mentioned as well as with Gabriel Orozco, Máximo González and multiple emergent artists.
All the texts have been approached from the discourse of interpretation of contemporary art, from which center, the production of formal artistic knowledge by any artists specially Mexican or in the periferia is analized regardin the impact it has in the global art ecosystem.
