Artista visual nacido en 1979 en Mérida, Yucatán. Especializado en producción de medios audiovisuales y animación. Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación. Inicia su carrera como documentalista y animador. Trabajó en diseño multimedia para la escena con Teatro Línea de Sombra y Murmurante Teatro, con quienes crea la multimedia y parte de la narrativa de la obra “El viaje inmóvil”, dirigido por Jorge Vargas Cortes. La obra es selección oficial de la 32 MNT y tiene una temporada en el teatro El Milagro. Su trabajo como documentalista es seleccionado para el Ecofest 2013 y presentado en la cineteca nacional.
Tras su experiencia en diseño multimedia para la escena se centra en el uso de nuevas tecnologías audiovisuales para narrar y comunicar.
Colaboró con la compañía de teatro La Rendija, creando la multimedia y aparato escénico de la pieza “Cuervo”, parte de la obra “Never More” dirigida por Raquel Araujo Madera. La pieza se presenta en Palma de Mallorca, 2016 y es selección oficial de la Muestra Nacional de Teatro 2017. Colaboró con Tatiana Zugazagoitia a quien le dirige la videodanza “Nadie” selección oficial del primer festival de videodanza CDMX y el festival de Screen Dance Estocolmo, y con Alberto Ruy Sánchez en el performance de nuevas tecnologías de la Feria Internacional de la lectura Yucatán 2017.
Ganador de la 4a Convocatoria a Productores Independientes, CANAL 22. Selección oficial en el 7o. Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Selección oficial Expresión en Corto 2010. Selección oficial 4o Festival de Cine, Vídeo y Sociedad, 2004. Colabora con proyectos seleccionados del Programa de Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales del FONCA, 2011 (video danza “Paraíso Perdido”) y 2013 (documental “CUSCUS CIRKUS”).
Selección oficial del Fondo Municipal para las Artes escénicas y la Música 2015 y 2016 del Ayuntamiento de Mérida, Yucatán con “Fábula Rasa”. Selección oficial de la Muestra Estatal de Teatro de Yucatán 2016. Seleccionada oficialmente para la XXXVII Muestra Nacional de Teatro 2017 (San Luis Potosí) Creador del espectáculo de videomapping para la catedral de Mérida, Yucatán, “Piedras Sagradas”. Invitado participante del Filux Mérida en el marco de Mérida, Capital Americana de la Cultura 2017 y Filux C.D.M.X. próximamente a realizarse.
