La instalación lumínica permitirá destacar los componentes del patio central del Museo. En los pasillos de la planta baja y planta alta, añadiremos luz de color y con texturas crearemos una piel que permite crear una nueva experiencia de transitar en ellos. En el patio central se destaca su vegetación con luminarios indirectos en blanco cálido de 3,000 kelvin. De tal forma que el espectador podrá experimentar un “nuevo patio” con más espacio y menos forma.
The light installation will allow to stand out the components of the Museum´s Central Patio. In the hallways of the ground and hight floor, color lights and textures will create a skin that allows to create a new experience when walking through them. In the Central Patio the vegetation will be outline with warm white light of 3,000 kelvin from indirect lights. That way the spectator will experiment a “new patio” with more space and less shape.
Elías Cisneros es Arquitecto Iluminador con herencia de la Cultura Maya. Es Catedrático de los Diplomados en Iluminación Arquitectónica por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), así como por la Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO).
Elías ha sido nominado al premio Reina Sofía de España y es custodio de la “Paloma de la Paz” por la UNESCO. Ha sido jurado para reconocimientos de Diseño de Iluminación nacional e internacional, Sinodal de tesis Universitarias y conferencista en varios países de América, Asia y Europa.

Elías Cisneros is an architect illuminator with a Mayan Culture heritage. He is a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Iberoamericana University (IBERO) where he imparts diplomas in Architectural Illumination.
Elías has been nominated to receive the Reina Sofía de España (Queen Sofia of Spain) award and is the custodian of the “Paloma de la Paz” (Dove of Peace) by the UNESCO. He has been a jury member for acknowledgements of international and national Illumination design, a Synodical Board Member for University Thesis and a lecturer in several countries in America, Europe and Asia.
